This college is situated for away from any industrial area. It is located in the lap of natural beauty, peaceful environment and complete rural increase of madanpur village. The nearest Railway Station of this college is Chandrapura Junction located in the North East side of this college. The distance of railway station is almost 1.5 km. It is located under the SIP of D.V.C. Thermal Plant. It is just beside of the main road of Chandrapura- Dumari. The local villagers of Madanpur have donated 11 acre land for the building of this college. Only meagre income villagers have been dwelling around this college. It has been visualising the dream of the children Harijans(SC) Advise (ST) and other backward classes. The children of all castes and religions obtain education education here in harmony.
It has been established by progressive, popular representative of Jharkhand legislative assembly. Honourable Rajendra Prasad Singh on 05 feb 1986. This college is lumenating or enlightening the dwellers by imparting costly of higher education. The founder secretary of this college was Sri Kapil Deo Singh. The pramukh of Bermo Block during that period. He encouraged the dwellers to flourished the institution for the welfare of this area and its inhabitants. It got its affiliation in 2004-2007 from Vinowa Bhave University Hazaribag and permanent affiliation is obtained in 2010-2013 from same university. Now it is a permanently affiliated unit of Binod Bihari Mahto koylanchal University, Dhanbad. It has recognised by UGC under section 2(F) and 12(B) of the act UGC Act 1956. It gets Aid from government of Jharkhand. It provides certificate course of B.A and B.Com Honours and General courses with good result. It also provides campus selection for the students of this college. N.S.S. provides opportunity for the students to show their talent in the services of the Nation.
